Bernalillo County is holding a public meeting on Tuesday, April 16th, 6:00pm, at the Highland Theater. They are seeking community input on what cultural and historic treasures should be highlighted, promoted and preserved by County. Report from Annual UHA Meeting & Newly Elected Board

Those present at the UHA Annual Meeting on January 31 were neighborhood residents, including five first-time participants. We were also joined by City Councilor Isaac Benton, Joyce Pullen of the mayor’s office, and Maggie Seeley, who again facilitated the meeting.

A special thank you to Councilor Benton, who spoke and answered neighborhood related questions, to Joyce Pullen, and to Maggie Seeley for helping make the meeting interesting and informative.

Community Discusses City Proposal for Bike Crossing at Silver and University Blvd

Silver Hill residents and other community members including representatives from the University Heights Association met on Tuesday November 10th at the Heights Community Center, to discuss a proposal put forward by City Councilor Ike Benton for a bicycle crossing where the Silver Avenue Bicycle Boulevard meets University Blvd.
